Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Razor mobile application (the "App") operated by Razor ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Razor, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Razor is an AI-powered sales training app that provides live voice roleplay drills with simulated prospects, scoring, skill-card mastery tracking, and progression mechanics. Razor is provided as a subscription service through the Apple App Store.

You must be at least 17 years of age to use Razor.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate registration information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription Terms

Razor offers three subscription tiers: Rookie, Closer, and Master. Pricing is displayed in the App at the point of purchase and may vary by region.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Your Apple ID will be charged when the purchase is confirmed and at each renewal
• Free trials (if offered) automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds
• Cancelling within the trial period prevents the first charge

Refunds

• All payment-handling, including refunds, is governed by Apple's policies
• Razor cannot issue direct refunds; request refunds through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com

Price changes

• We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice
• Continued use after a price change means you accept the new price
• You can cancel at any time if you don't accept a price change

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use Razor for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm any person (including the AI prospects in inappropriate ways unrelated to sales training)
• Share your account credentials or transfer your subscription to another person
• Bypass, circumvent, or attempt to defeat any subscription, usage cap, or feature gate
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App
• Upload audio or text content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Record or distribute the AI prospect's responses commercially without permission

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Intellectual Property

Our content. The App, including all software, design, branding, scenarios, skill cards, methodologies, scoring algorithms, and AI prompts, is owned by Razor and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Razor solely for personal sales training purposes via the App.

Your content. You retain ownership of your voice recordings, transcripts, and any text you submit. By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content for the purpose of providing the service (scoring drills, generating coach notes, training history). We will not use your content to train third-party AI models.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Razor uses AI (large language models and voice models) to simulate prospects, score drills, and produce coach notes. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Razor is a training tool, not professional sales advice. You are solely responsible for your real-world sales conversations and outcomes. Razor makes no guarantees about your sales results.

7. Privacy

Your use of Razor is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses. We do not warrant any specific results from using Razor.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAZOR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so the above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Razor harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, but the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability) will continue.

You may terminate your account at any time by tapping Profile → Delete account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the United States.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and Razor — Apple is not a party. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. To the extent these Terms grant a right to a third party, Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms against you.
