Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Razor ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Razor mobile application (the "App").
By using Razor, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect:
- Email address
- Display name and username
- Authentication identifiers (Apple ID / Google ID if used)
- Sales vertical, experience level, and goals you select during onboarding
- Profile photo (if you upload one)
Training data
When you use the App, we collect:
- Voice recordings of your AI sales roleplay sessions (transcribed automatically)
- Transcripts of those conversations
- Scoring data (rapport, discovery, objection-handling, close scores)
- Skill cards earned, XP, belt rank, streak count
- Training drill history and timestamps
Usage and device data
- Device model, OS version, app version, locale, timezone
- Crash reports (stack traces, no personal content)
- Anonymous product-analytics events (which screens you view, which features you use)
- Push notification token (only if you grant push permission)
Subscription information
- Apple App Store purchase receipts (validated through RevenueCat)
- Subscription tier, status, renewal/expiration dates
- We do not collect or store payment card numbers — those are handled by Apple
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the core training experience (run voice roleplays, score them, track progress)
- Personalize content (recommend scenarios based on your vertical and weak areas)
- Send the daily reminder notification you opted into (if any)
- Investigate crashes and improve app stability
- Communicate with you about your account or material changes to the App
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party ads.
3. Third-Party Services
Razor uses the following third-party services that process data on our behalf:

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for the service to function.
4. Voice Data Specifically
When you complete a roleplay drill:
- Your voice is streamed in real-time to OpenAI's Realtime API to drive the AI prospect's responses
- A transcript is generated (Whisper)
- Audio recordings may be stored in your Supabase Storage account for later playback in your scorecard
- We do not use your voice data to train AI models
You can delete all voice recordings by deleting your account (see Section 7).
5. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account:
- Your profile, drill history, scores, transcripts, audio recordings, and notifications are permanently deleted within 30 days
- Apple may retain transactional records (receipts) per their own policies
- Anonymized aggregate analytics may persist indefinitely (these contain no PII)
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (use the Delete account button in Profile → Settings)
- Export your data (contact support)
- Opt out of analytics (contact support)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email support@therazor.app with your account email.
7. Deleting Your Account
Tap Profile → Delete account → Delete forever. This permanently removes:
- Your profile and all training history
- Voice recordings and transcripts
- Scores, XP, belts, streaks, and notifications
Note: Your App Store subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions before deletion if you want to stop billing.
8. Children's Privacy
Razor is intended for users 17 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@therazor.app and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest on Supabase, JWT-based authentication, and row-level security policies preventing cross-user data access. No system is perfectly secure, however; if you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
10. International Users
Razor is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using Razor, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App or by email. Continued use of Razor after a change means you accept the updated policy.
